And how well do you think these characters will fare against the marines?
From the depths of the darkest realm of reality
10,000 voices Rose in unison
and three words resonated to the heavens,
inspiring Terror in the denizens of Heaven and Hell:
Ave Dominus Nox!

I suggest at least pitting either X, Zero, or Axl at 100% full power in a factpile fight against a Space Marine so we can actually find out the proper gauge(just for at least X, though, you'll need Grey Knights or Rubric Marines, seeing as how he can freeze time, actually!)

All the Horus Heresy books, The Grey Knights Omnibus, storm of iron, path of the warrior, the killing grounds, ultramarines omnibus, brothers of the snake, soul hunter, dead men walking, savage scars, the purging of kadillus, fall of damnos, battle of the fang. These are the ones I have on my shelf, most I give out. Of these, I would highly recommend the grey knights omnibus and brothers of the snake. Those are my favorite right now.

Vulkan and Corax missing. Ferrus Manus dead.
Night Lords, Iron Warriors, Alpha Legion and Word Bearers with Horus Lupercal."

That, and someone pretty much just threatened to suggest a Space Marine-involved match that's pretty $hitty.
Two chunks of bad news for the price of one, pretty much.
