I understand that the moderators are busy in life. We all are personally. Honestly, there are times where I felt like sacrificing a thing I like in favor of moving on in my life. I like Space Battles (as there are more people to interact with), but a match addition goes about a page a day (and other stuff such as what-ifs or real-life matches get that same amount of updates). I like Factpile too, but no one can doubt it's a shadow of its former self. Real life problems and conflicting views landed it here.
We're here: a slow site, mainly, with a match once a week.
Now, showing the brief history and problems, it's already too late to bring what's lost.
However, I propose a solution to our current problem of the slow rate of matches, at least.
I did suggest a once a week kind of thing considering that people have real lives or could use alternatives. But, I was thinking that someone could step up and post a match since this site works on a circle of trust.
I'm not sure who, but I am willing to do so if no one wants too, and I understand. It's something that no one wants to do.
It's hard to describe but it's not an obligation but it's not a dead weight either. It's a want or itch that continuously irritates you and you want to scratch it, but if it becomes part of life, you would shove it at the end of the list.
I was thinking that if I were to do it, I would be able to do it on the end of alternating between Monday or Tuesday (basically between that time frame). I probably wouldn't be a good photoshopper or editor, but I will try posting images and searching through who has a match suggested or not.
It's not like I feel like there's an obligation for me to do so...b-baka Factpile-chan. It's also totally not a reason for me to skip my matches that I suggest, so that I don't have to make a new one...It's just an itch.
