I think this is a great idea. If the match has been posted there is no need for a redundant thread discussing said match. You can do that on the match itself.

Exactly my reasoning behind this.
It saves me time too.
I dont have to go through both the main site and match aide looking for threads to lock....

How about general match threads, such as "Heller vs..." and "Avatar Korra vs..."? Should they be locked after one match, or how should something like that work?
