Background: Intel on the Eclipse Imperium is limited however what is known is that they were founded by scattered Freyjan and Lek-Thu that founded the Imperium to protect themselves. They worked on genetic research and created the Apicem Rapax which appears to have been created to replace them in the future. The Apicem Rapax have worked on their own research projects and created several other species that serve the needs of the Imperium. No other Intel has been uncovered about them as of yet.

Apicem Rapax: The Apicem Rapax are a humanoid species that are highly resilient to physical damage, capable of recovering from multiple gunshot wounds with minimal or even no medical attention and surviving radiation doses which would be fatal to humans. They are also highly resilient to most bacteria and viruses. They are incredibly strong, easily capable of outmatching a conditioned adult human male in unarmed combat and able to land blows that can shatter solid concrete. This strength evidently extends to their lower bodies as well, as Apicem Rapax have been seen to jump up to three times their own height, and are capable of falling up to ten times their height and landing safely on their feet and are skilled climbers.

They were created by rogue Lek-Thu and Freyjans to be the new soldier race for the Imperium. However overtime due to their sheer numbers and given the ability to reproduce have produced in great numbers are now a powerhouse in Imperium politics. They were bred for war and that is the foundation of their values and goals in life. They are the main causes of massive armament and hold a good share of political offices. In some cases they have proven to be smarter than their Lek-Thu and Freyjan creators and are rumors that they are working on improving their species.

Known features, they can have either blue, red, orange, purple, and pale skins. With hair that could be either white, red, black, gold, green, and brown. With eyes that could be black, red, blue, gold, and brown.

Quattuors: The Quattuors are the first creation by the Apicem through their own genetic experiments. The Quattuors are a humanoid being with four arms and are over 7 foot tall. They're made to be 100% loyal to the Apicem instead of the Freyjans and Lek-Thu. They were the first of many species created by them. They do not reproduce and are made in the labs. This is to ensure complete control over the population. They're used as storm troops down to manual labor as their strength matches the Apicem though not as smart or skilled. The scales on their skin acts as a thin layer of protection against bullets and low energy weapons.

Known features, known features, they can have either black, brown, white, orange, and yellow skins. With known hair color being black, brown, and yellow. Known eye colors are brown, black, red, blue, and green.

Futter: The Futter are very simple humanoid creatures that look more like hairless monkeys rather than human. They are extreme fast and have great agility making them shock troops and snipers. Like with other species created by the Apicem they are unable to breed and everything is controlled by the Apicem. They can be produced and grown adults in a matter of months which gives the Imperium the ability to use them as cannon fodder to overrun enemy positions.

Known features, known skin tones are white, brown, and red. Known hair is black and brown. Known eye colors are black and orange. Monkey like tails.

Truten: The Truten are humanoid insects that are hatched from eggs created by the Apicem. The Truten was meant as a possible replacement for the Futter however the Truten while outnumbering the Futter population wise and can be produced in a shorter timeframe they were too "alien" for Apicem's liking. It appears the Futter have some sort of lovable charm that appeals to average Apicem civilian. They're natural limited flight from their wings allows them to be more useful in light infantry roles. While they're still used with Futter in swarming the enemy, they're perfect for recon and raiding. They have four arms but two arms with humanoid hands, the other two don't have hands but pincers used to stab enemy threats.

Known features, No hair. known skin tones are black, brown, tan, green, and gray. Known eye color is black.

Insanus: The Insanus is a humanoid that is eight times stronger than a human and is breed to go into fits of pure rage. They're 8 feet tall and normally are 400 pounds of pure muscle. They're used as expendable shock troops and are known for carrying heavy weapons.

Known features, Known skin tones are red, blue, and orange. No hair. Known eye colors are black, red and gray.

Puro: The Puro are from the outside look like humans but their red eyes give them away. They're purely emotionless and seem to be extremely disciplined making them appear as some of the most professional soldiers in the galaxy. They're eyesight is far superior to that of normal humans making them outstanding marksmen. It doesn't appear they have controlled breeding like the other species created by the Apicem. The Puro seems to be the preferred species for interspecies relations as they're sent to act as diplomats. However further look into this also reveals they're mostly used as Secret Police in the feared Aliquam Converte and as Commissars that would execute anyone that showed even an ounce of disloyalty. Some reports have suggested that the Imperium has death squads that deal with those whom do not fit into the Imperium's vision. The Puro seem to have been bred for genocide in mind.

Known features, known skin tones are pale, brown, black and dark blue tones. Only known to have red eyes. The known hair colors are black, yellow, and red.

Kaze: The Kaze are fanatical 5 foot tall humanoids that bred for pure assault in mind. They were created with zero self preservation in mind as they seem to be willing to strap bombs onto themselves and charge the enemy in hopes of taking out an enemy vehicle. They seem to work with Trutens and Futters in their assaults and focus on enemy armor. They're also selected for delay actions when an unit is expected to be wiped out. Like the Puro they're allowed to breed as in civilian roles they're used to give Puro's practice as the Kaze seem to prefer high risk lifestyles than stable ones.

Known features, known skin tones are pale, brown, black, red, blue, gold, orange, purple, and green. Known hair color green, black, red, and yellow hair. They have eyes that are twice the size of normal human eyes.

Gubernator: The Gubernators are human looking humanoids that have enhanced to have an extremely high degree of focus and spatial awareness, almost a sixth sense. They are capable of empathically detecting other Gubernators and are sensitive to the hostile intentions directed at them by others, allowing them to uncannily react to their opponents even before the offender carries out the intended action. Some Gubernators also exhibit telepathic abilities or use psychokinesis. They were designed to be pilots and naval officers. Their physical abilities have been increased to withstand the pressure from Mach 10+ though that requires alot of training but they can reach that physical standard much easier than humans. Like with the Puro and Kaze, the Gubernators are allowed to breed and are oddly very emotional species when compared to the Puro and Kaze. This is due to their Empathy and them being able to detect other beings. While its much easier for them to detect each other from great distances, some reports say as far as one system to another but this is not confirmed. Some highly trained and skilled Gubernators are placed in control systems to control waves of attack drones and funnel weapon systems. Their normal pilots are able to sense the possible movements and feelings of the enemy pilot so they could predict their movement much easier than any other species.

Known features, mostly all known human skin tones, hair coloring, eye colors. They're pretty much human looking.

Drop Marines: This is a human looking species that had their psychical abilities increased beyond peak performance. They're 7 to ten feet tall and have a powerful muscle mass that allows them to lift a metric ton. They also have two sets of lungs and two hearts to allow for them to continue fighting if one was hit. They're unable to reproduce so the Apicem can control their numbers and training. Bred to be 100% loyal to the Apicem and are used as attack dogs.

Details: A powerful assault rifle that fires explosive rounds referred to as shard rounds. Aside from causing deep penetration wounds (a single shard can cause internal bleeding or strike a vital organ, with untreated wounds resulting in death. Depending on the impact area and angle, several crystalline shards can cause amputation of limbs, and impacts to the chest are in most cases always fatal), three or more of the shards on the same target cause a massive explosion as the energy inside is released, not only killing the target but flinging micro-shards into the nearby enemy, causing possible lacerations and internal bleeding in nearby enemies if they have unarmored parts, otherwise puncturing their armor. The shards do eventually explode on their own, causing the same effect to their target, but it is "minor" compared to the explosion released bu the supercombine explosion. The shards themselves are crsytalized forms of Ark energy, which means that energy shields are useless against the weapon The properties of Ark also give the projectiles limited "homing" abilities at farther ranges or if the target is moving around

Details: IML-20 Multi-Purpose Rocket Launcher is a fire-and-forget missile with lock-on before launch and automatic self-guidance. The system takes a top-attack flight profile against armored vehicles (attacking the top armor which is generally thinner) but can also take a direct-attack mode for use against buildings or fortifications. This missile also has the ability to engage helicopters in the direct attack mode. The missile reaches a peak altitude of 5 miles in top-attack mode and 1 mile in direct-fire mode. The missile is equipped with an imaging infrared seeker. The tandem warhead is fitted with two shaped charges: a precursor warhead to detonate any explosive reactive armor and a primary warhead to penetrate base armor. Details: The Heavy Ballistic Rifle or the Bolter is a heavy weapon that is used against enemy infantry to armored vehicles. Its designed for the use of the feared Drop Marines that are their standard issue weapon for them. The Bolter is used to tear through enemy armor with ease and uses a series of shells, High Explosives, Sabot Shell, Plasma Jet-Stream Shell, and Hyper Velocity Shell.

Details: The Fusion Gun is a powerful, anti-armour weapon that produces an intense, energetic beam of heat in the tens of thousands of degrees. It emits devastatingly intense but short-ranged blasts of heat which can melt through almost any material. It function by inducing highly pressurized gases from an ammunition canister into an unstable sub-molecular state which produces nuclear fusion and directing the resulting energies down the barrel. Fusion Weapon usage is always accompanied by a distinctive hissing sound as the Fusion beam boils away the water in the air, then a roaring blast as the beam reduces the target to charred scraps or molten slag. Fusion Guns are the premier Imperium anti-armor weapons, and few if any vehicles can withstand their power.

Details: This hand held shoulder mounted heavy rocket launcher is issued only to the Drop Marines and is used to destroy heavy targets. It can fire a series of missile types from anti-tank, anti-air, anti-ship, or scattershot missiles that can carry smaller anti-tank or anti-air missiles to take out multiple targets. It even has a bunker buster missile type they can load onto it.

Details: It has and internal and external batteries and uses a Magnetic Acceleration Tube. It fires High Explosive Rounds, Smoke Cartridges, Illumination Rounds, Chemical and Biological rounds, White Phosphorus Rounds, and Phase Shell, Fuel Air Rounds.


Grenades

IG-13: The standard issue grenade for the Imperium. IG-13 can be thrown about 30 to 35 meters by the average soldier. It has a 4.0-5.5 second fuse that ignites explosives packed inside a round body. Steel fragments (not to be confused with shrapnel) are provided by the grenade body and produce a casualty radius of 15 meters, with a fatality radius of 5 meters, though some fragments can disperse as far out as 250 meters. Its effectiveness is not just its blast radius, which measures approximately 45 feet (13.7 m) because fragments fly much farther. The IG-13 has a built in timer that is a series of lights that informs the user how much time the user has before the Grenade explodes.

FB-19: The standard issue flash bang grenade.

SG-10: The standard issue smoke grenade.

IAIG-2 Airborne Incendiary Grenade: The Airborne Incendiary Grenade relies on oxygen from the surrounding air, whereas most conventional explosives consist of a fuel-oxygen premix. Thus, on a weight-for-weight basis they are significantly more energetic than normal condensed explosives. Their reliance on atmospheric oxygen makes them unsuitable for use underwater, at high altitude or in adverse weather. However, they have significant advantages when deployed inside confined environments such as tunnels, caves, and bunkers. The user throws the grenade and fuel-oxygen premix bursts into the air then the grenade canister ignites the fuel-oxygen premix and creates a massive explosion that kills all within 15 to 20 meters.

This is perfect for the different body frames and types of the Freyjans and the Lek-Thu. This suit has a built in stealth system that allows them to blend into their surrounding. The helmet allows for auto targeting for the shoulder cannons and allows the wearer to see in full spectrum lighting.

Details: The ICS-85 is the standard issue heavy power armor for the Imperium. It has a built in shield generator, jump jets, gripping gloves that can attach to any surface, and increase the user's strength by 400%. On it's right arm it has a heavy energy sabre and duel IM-17 Particle Machine Guns. On the left arm is the 20mm Particle six barrel cannon, 2x IML-20 Multi-Purpose Rocket Launchers. On the shoulders has the rest of the weapons. The suit is able to preform space flight if needed and is able to preform a reentry to a planet. The Demon Robotic Tank is designed to be a counter to the mechs since appearing in the system. The Beam Saber is an energy sword solely for close combat. In combat it is unless however the pilots demanded to have a close quarter weapon on their RTs. Their mind set is if they run our of ammo or got close to enemy mechs they could use their Beam Sabers to cut the legs off of the enemy mechs. Details: The Attaliates is an assault ship uses the new "M" Particles to make radar systems and long-range wireless communication systems useless. M Particles has near-zero rest mass - though, like any particle, its mass increases to reflect its potential or kinetic energy - and can carry either a positive or negative electrical charge. When scattered in open space or in the air, the repulsive forces between charged M Particles cause them to spontaneously align into a regular cubic lattice structure called an I-field. An I-field lattice will slowly expand and scatter into space, however, after dense interference it will take approximately 29 days before the region can support normal electromagnetic communication again.
The main use of the M Particle was in combat and communication. When the M Particles is spread in large numbers in the open air or in open space, the particles disrupt low-frequency electromagnetic radiation, such as microwaves and radio waves. The M Particle also interferes with the operations of electronic circuitry and destroys unprotected circuits due to the particles' high electrical charge which act like a continuous electromagnetic pulse on metal objects. Because of the way M Particles react with other types of radiation, radar systems and long-range wireless communication systems become useless, infra-red signals are defracted and their accuracy decreases, and visible light is fogged. This became known as the "M Effect". The disruption of electromagnetic radiation is due to the small lattice of the I-field creating fringes that long wavelengths cannot penetrate, and that diffract wavelengths that have similar distance with the fringes. This diffraction and polarization process disrupts the electromagnetic waves. The only counter measure to the "M" particle in the series was to install bulky and expensive shielding on all electronic equipment, but only to counteract the effect it had on electronic circuitry. While this could be done for space ships and naval ships, this ruled out the use of precision guided weapons, such as guided missiles

Details: The Apicem Rapax Elite are rumored to be crafted in a lab to be the perfect killer. Elements of the Freyjans Neo Soldier program mixed with Lek-Thu gene mixing has crafted a fusion of Freyjan and Lek-Thu DNA. Its a mostly human looking being but is few more intelligent, ruthless and clever than most. Reports state they put in the Lek-Thu's lack of emotion and the Freyjan's fanatical traits into the being to make it kill without mercy and not shy away from death.
It's only funny until someone gets hurt...then it's hilarious!

Details: The Siege Legions are massive units that come in with heavy artillery, armor, air assets, and heavy infantry. They are deployed to bitter fronts or critical points of the war where a siege is in full swing.

Imperium Airborne Divisions:

Details: The Airborne Divisions are normally tasked with behind the line operations with light air, armored, and mech support for their operations. They move rapidly and aggressively in raiding and assault operations.

Star Corps:

Details: A Star Corps is also known as a Combined Corps that is a mixed unit from different legion and regiment types as well has a Naval Task Group under its command. These Star Corps are special purpose forces that are used to carry out a set mission task and most of them are temporary in nature. Which is why most of them are called Combined Corps. However if a Combined Corps stays together long enough it's officially recognized as a Star Corps. Once a Star Corps is formed they are used as an independent unit that is deployed to fronts to handle set missions. They would commonly have Drop Marines, Imperium Marines, Airborne Divisions, and whatever that is formed into them. They would normally have a handful of warships to transport them and carry out operations.

Shock Legions of Mors:

Details: These are elite legions trained for siege warfare, they're tasked with entrenchment, artillery, and heavy assaults. They are known to use Chemical and Biological weapons on enemy troops and because of this they're always in their Combat Suits. They're trained in close quarter combat and are breed to be the most ruthless soldiers in the Imperium and rarely take prisoners.

Storm Trooper Legions:

They roll in with heavy orbital, air, and artillery support as well as armored vehicles and mechs.

Armageddon Legions:

Details: The Order of Armageddon is a force that is tasked to wipe out all life on a planet by any means. Armageddon Troopers do not care for politics or whom they kill. They are given a target and they work to destroy said target. Every member of the Armageddon Order is created and breed for this role and allows the Imperium to wipe out enemy resistance from armed to unarmed. The Imperium doesn't deploy these troops to secure objectives or clear a city of enemy fighters. They are deployed to destroyed a city and all in the city.

Sicarius Umbra Regiments:

Details: The Elite Sicarius Umbra are the top special forces unit in the Imperium that are tasked in assassination and search and destroy operation. What they roll in with is mostly unknown but most likely mission based.

Details: These are the elite bodyguard troops for the Imperium that are breed and enhanced to be the perfect warrior. They are enhanced to function with only 20 mins of sleep a day and still function as they had 8 hours of sleep. They're eyesight is enhanced to the point of being about to have natural night version as well as reading a road sight half a mile away with ease. Their reflexes are improved and their muscles are enhanced for increased strength. These troops are deployed to critical fronts that holds the Emperor's interests.
