The Berezovsky Resettlement Settlement was born out of the evacuation of many Opochkians fleeing Opochka during the Bolgar Sector War, They sought refuge with Chadan whom was unable to house them, so a large City 'Archeology' was Constructed on Berezovsky, the Berezovsky Resettlement Settlement.

"This just in we have reports of a Eris Freighter has been destroyed in Jora Field. Early reports from the few survivors stating that their ship was hit in the engine section by two torpedoes from an unknown ship. Only four of its 20 crew were able to get to the life boat in time before the ship's engine exploded. They were picked up by a Patrolling Eris frigate in the Field. The Freighter was known as the EMF Züttel and was a Raiten Class Freighter. Reports state that the Freighter was carrying 100,000 tons of humanitarian aide to Furna. Eris has been sending aide to several planets ever since the Orithyian Republic took over Jun and Valand. With Piracy cleared from these fields by the Orithyian Navy years ago many experts are wondering on a possible return to piracy or a possible convert action.

One of CNB's Military Analyst Captain Tyes Grait, former Captain in the Moranian Navy here is the sound bite, "It isn't possible for pirates can have access to advanced stealth tech that would allow the ship to get close enough to the freighter. The only nation in the sector that maybe could pull it off is the Orithyian Republic."

Welcome to the noon news with the Domhandian News Network.

Firstly, Empress Aera has opened talks with the worlds of the rest of the Waccamaw sector. Sources say that the Empress intends to broach the subject of the sector uniting into a single bloc for economic and military purposes. Sources also say that she plans to attend the meetings personally, an emphasis of the importance she's placed onto this matter.

In other news, the Imperial Parliament has approved the expansion of Domhanda's mining operations on Wagram, Angus, and Coldwater. There are high hopes that this increase in raw materials mined from outside the Domhandian system will provide a good balance between sizable profit and natural preservation of Domhanda's own resources.

This week, Domhanda celebrates, or rather mourns, the beginning of the Long War several centuries ago. All citizens are expected to wear black, and all Imperial flags are at half. Military parades and events will last all through the week as Domhanda's armed forces remember the brutal struggle and the sacrifices made that made the Imperial Military what it is today. This anniversary, the Domhandian History program is available to offworld viewers who wish to learn about several of the key events during the Long War.

Finally, the Domhandian Childrens' Network has created a brand new animated cartoon for younger viewers. Camera appears to be filming from behind a screen or projection of somesort, but it doesn't really impede the shot.

Two analysts are sitting and talking infront of the camera, not looking at it or acknoledging its precence at all.

One of the analysts is speaking in a light chadian accent, the other has yet to speak.

"Ok, so a platoon out on patrol, the insurgants have scouted this patrol route and planted what seemed to be an 'IED'.
The lead vehicle rolls up to a pile of pre-contact trash disguising the 'IED' , the insurgants blow the 'IED' and then open up on the platoon from both sides.
The platoon dismounts and two of their vehicles are taken out by RAT-12 launchers,and after a ten minute firefight.
All the insurgants dissappear back into the wilderness, the platoon counts 7 killed and 8 wounded and they have to wait a further 30 minutes for reinforcements."

The analyst takes a long gulp of coffee (Chadan's Victory brand... of course) as his compatriot nods and randomly decides to continue summerising the situation for his mate.

This analyst speaks in a very forced sounding siggian accent

"Yup, then it turns out that the way this supposed 'IED' took out the lead vehicle. It generated an EMP field to weaken the vehicles shields, then shot multiple particle beams into the vehicles ammo storage and engines, then after the vehicle is total'd the 'IED' itself explodes like a final 'fuck you'. As if that wasn't enough it turns out these insurgants are equipped with direct copies of registered Directorate military surplus!"

For our opening topic, the Empress has delivered the world of Kragia a message regarding the war with the neighboring planet of Solvia. The Empress has urged the fascist regime to end its war with Solvia so that both worlds can better recover from the consequences of the exit of the superpowers from the Evor Sector. She has also stated that Solvia is a trading partner of Imperial Domhanda, and that she would prefer to send the beleaguered planet food and other peacetime goods instead of military hardware. Empress Aera has warned that if the war continues, the consequences of the aftermath may be more than Kragia will be willing to bear. More on this later.

Next on the list of topics, a bold exploration of the world of Brazin in the Suzano sector has begun. A full fleet complete with an army has been sent to the world to pierce through the nebula surrounding Brazin to finally discover what so many Chadian and Orithyian probes have failed. Contact with the Sixth Fleet is expected to be in flux at bet as they move through the nebula due to the disruptive properties of the area, but there are high hopes that whatever secrets Brazin is hiding will finally be brought to the light.

In other news, the world of Hooven has accepted its selection of being the meeting place for the leaders and representatives of the worlds of the Waccamaw sector. Finally, glowing reviews lift up the pilot episode of DCN's new animated series, named "A Symphony of Light and Shadow", or, alternatively, "Game of Gods." High marks have been awarded to the pilot for setting an intriguing world with many interesting, well acted and animated characters with what seems to be a very promising story.
