Plan:
Space:
Immediately detach 100,000 Zweihander Class Bombers and 50,000 Falchion Class Fighters to precede the WU assault on Mailuire with a high altitude saturation bombing from a mix of 500lb, 1000lb and 22000lb bombs. Break things up and keep their heads down while the WU advance.

The fleets are to form up in squadrons, pick single Imperium ships and focus fire on them. Coordinate fire across the squadron to blanket the areas our impaired sensors think the ship is in and have an AI monitor which ships fire is hitting, then adjust the targeting of the rest of the squadron to match. Make use of our plasma blast cannons to blanket the Imperium fleets with clouds of plasma. Load IPBMs and ISBMs with payloads of mixed Ark and Plasma ASM clusters, programmed to spread into grids of missiles and fly in straight paths at the areas we think contain Imperium ships, only deviating from their courses if they successfully lock onto an Imperium ship.

Land 10,000 Clydesdales in the secured area south of Sion, with 20,000 Falchion Class Fighters to escort them down.

Each fleet is to deploy mines to cover their flanks, to keep Imperium units from getting sneaky.



Ground:
The landed Clydesdales are to act as a temporary base and medical facilities for all friendly forces.

The mobile AO guns to the south of Sion are to coordinate with the fleets in orbit, to make better use of their guns.

MRH-152 Rail Howitzers on vehicles and platforms are to load Ion-Jet shell boosters and prepare for a fire mission. Each gun is to fire off its 10-round autoloader magazine in a multiple round simultaneous impact barrage on the Imperium defences at Mailuire. The shells used in each barrage is to be: 3 HE/Frag cluster, 2 H-Ion, 3 HE, 2 Plasma. Each gun will make 4 of these barrages, which will take approximately 2 minutes to complete. The barrages will be timed so that the second to last one hits just before the WU units enter engagement range of Mailuire, with the last hitting before the WU enter the danger zone. (This boils down to ~1,500,000 152mm shells landing at the same time, four times in a row. Slam, pause, slam, pause, slam, pause, slam, rather than a continuous rain of shells.)

While most of our ground forces are tied up, we must support the WU's assault on Mailuire. Detach 40,000 Pathfinder Light Tanks and 20,000 Lanciarii Light Mechs to immediately join their assault. 100 Zelus II Heavy Mechs (mixture of weapons and modules, geared to cover most targets) and 500 CSU-400 Concordiat Super Tanks are to follow the lighter units, making best speed. (The light units should get there in ~24 minutes, the heavies in ~60 minutes.) The Zelus IIs and Concordiats are to fire their howitzers while on route, to best support the leading light forces and WU units, with the Concordiats 500mm VLS missiles being used to strike any major threats identified by the lead units.

The 1st Federal Air-Mobile Army Group is to maintain their cordon around the Pyramid, focusing their efforts on stopping Imperium units from entering District 1. Ambush from stealth, hit and run, use their climbing and flying to their advantage to get good angles.

The 11th Drop Army Group, 2 MACO Battalions and the 1st-3rd Special Operations Divisions are to take down the shields in the Pyramid and get in positions to storm the shielded floor as soon as the shields drop. A quarter of their forces are to peel off to watch their backs against possible Imperium attacks.
It's not that one bullet with your name on it that should worry you, it's the hundreds of artillery shells raining down with "To whom it may concern" written on them.

Map

The Federal Fleet was able to deploy mines to cover their flanks while forming up into squadrons. They had trouble engaging Imperium ships and suffered heavy losses. The Federals launch IPBMs and ISBMs towards possible enemy locations and managed to strike a few of them. Reports are coming in that two enemy frigates destroyed and three cruisers were damaged in the first wave of attacks.

The WU Fleet changed formation and begun engaging the Imperium fleet and turned into a pure cluster fuck as both sides look like are spinning around in circle shooting randomly (rolls are more fucked than normal that is the best way to explain it at the moment.) The Purgatory Cruisers' M Cannon seem to have more effect than normal shots though the WU still took after losses but they were able to destroy three Frigates and damage a destroyer.

The Ragnarok Task Force took point in the main counter attack and caused massive damage to the Imperium and managed to destroy two Cruisers, three Destroyers, and a Battlecruiser. The Imperium counter attacked and managed to destroy several ships within the task force and damaged the Ragnarok's shields but they're still holding.

Allied Fleets suffer heavy losses as most of the Estuarian 1st Fleet, Sagrian 9th Fleet, Hasai 5th Fleet, and Tyndrumian 1st Royal Fleet were destroyed. The USSB suffered heavy losses as well but managed to destroy two destroyers and four attack crafts.

Space/Mailuire

The Federals begin their bombing runs on the Imperium's positions in Mailuire. Before the bombers reached their targets they were attacked by thousands of Imperium fighters that have broken off of the main fleet. Enemy fighters were able to tear through the Federal fighters and bombers with ease. Once over the target area the enemy fighters broken off and the Federal Squadrons took heavy AA fire from the Imperium. The remaining bombers dropped their bombs and begun moving out of the area. Fortunately since due to the sheer numbers of bombers deployed they were able to drop plenty of bombs on the area. The effect is unknown at this time but reports have stated once the bombs were dropped the enemy AA turned their sights on the bombs being dropped. Regardless a few thousand bombs made land fall. It seems most of the defenses were at the towers, airfield and warp platform. Recon reports coming start that their FOBs and Firebases were damaged but no clue on the level of damages at this moment. The Bombers and fighters were attacked again by Imperium fighters as they made their way out. After a hard fight what was left returned to their fleet where the attacking fighters broke off their attack.

Ground

Map

Remaining Consortium forces have been ordered by their mid level commanders to cease engaging allied forces and are digging in on the flanks with allied forces.

The Clydesdales landed with issue and deployed their battalions and set up a temporary base and medical facilities. The Mobile AOs are now deployed and are firing at where they think Imperium ships are.

City Map

Consortium positions have been overrun and so was allied forces that have been pushed back to WU and Federal lines.

In the Pyramid Allied forces broke through the shield and took the floor with all of the Consortium leadership captured and the seeders secured.

The Imperium begun their assault on WU forces and managed to overrun WU forces at districts 40, 48, and 26. Reports state that the Imperium might have lost a few hundred per district. Survivors are reporting that Imperium troops were seen climbing the building with some of them flying with wings to the rooftops. Raptorian snipers have been reporting that they were forced to pull back after being overrun on the roof tops. They also reported them setting up in shoulder mounted AA teams.

Imperium forces begin their assault on Federal districts trying to make a push for the Pyramid. Federal forces were forced to pull back from District 8, reports that the Imperium may have lost over a thousand in that district. The Federal forces were able to hold off the enemy assaults for now.

Some allied teams behind enemy lines are requesting fire missions on possible warp tower in District 63. Scyllian aircraft tried to bomb the area but were taken out by Imperium AA fire. The team is now requesting danger close fire missions on their positions and resent coordinates on the warp tower.

Mailuire

Map

Federal artillery begun their barrage on Imperium positions before the allied assault. Once the barrage was over WU and other Aliied forces begin their attack. With the USV's 3rd Armored Division, Eratian 91st Motor Rifle Division and Cossacks 1st Division, Zandunian Hawa Division and 1st Revolutionary Guards Brigade, Scyllian 3rd Dragoon Regiment, East Sindian 815th Mechanized Corps, Tarwirian 1st Motorized Division, and Burengian 4th Marines Brigade, 1st Khan's Guards Regiment, and Khan's Special Forces Brigade are moving in to support.

The WU's Triceracan Lancers advanced through the AO and spot hundreds of destroyed Imperium vehicles and walkers. The FOBs have been destroyed and as they advance past them they spot hundreds of supply vehicles destroyed and thousands of bodies. As they got closer to the firebases they see alot of damage and wasn't fire upon as they got within a few hundred meters of the bases.

Allied forces cross the bridges with the USV's 3rd Armored Division taking point. As the heavy armor cross the bridge, one of the Lancers rammed into something that looked invisible. The bike was totaled and the rider's body flipped up in the air and landed on what looks like thin air. Aera spots a blue glow a few meters from the body, a blue bolt is shot out of a barrel that appears for a second before recloaking. The bolt hits one of the USV's tanks destroying it. The lancers begun to take heavy fire from small arms that was a mix of particles and alien weaponry.

Aera enraged thrusts her Zionic blade into the cloaked vehicle and managed to hit the fuel source causing it to burst into flames. She escapes before she got caught in it. More cloaked tank destroyers begun firing on WU and allied vehicles. Aera could see several of the cloaked tank destroyers pulling back as she could see the tracks moving across the ground. The WU advanced forces are holding their own for now. WU 3rd Army begun engaging Imperium forces but is taken heavy fire from Imperium troops. More Imperium armored vehicles move into line of sight with tanks and four legged walkers taking point.

Burengian, Zandunian, and Tarwirian forces have been stopped at the western bridge and are taking heavy fire.

Federal forces arrive and begun engaging Imperium forces. They had a moderate effect so far they couldn't make any serious gains but neither did the Imperium.

Reports say the warp platform was damaged and has delayed the construction of the platform for now. Aircrafts have been launched from the airfield now.

Plan:
Space:
Since they're poorly suited to space combat, all Tempestas Class Aerospace Carriers are to move towards the planet side of their formations and coordinate support fire to all allied ground forces. The first job is to drop a volley of squad and individual drop pods on the location of the friendly special forces team in District 63. The pods are to contain BCF/M Infantry Drones with a BSG-3M Shield Generator, OCN Brick and DK-1 Detonator Pouch. Rig the shield generator to explode if the squad it's assigned to is destroyed or captured and order the squads to converge on the special forces team, deploy bubble shields and hold for the fire mission. Once the ships detect deployment of bubble shields over the special forces, engage and destroy the warp tower targeted.

The Tempestas are to deploy CFWP-11 Satellites, programmed to automatically engage ground targets as they present themselves, putting priority on AO and AA, Artillery and heavy armour, then all other targets, with priority fire support missions overriding the queue. This should help suppress Imperium roof top AA teams.

The fleet is to continue to remain in coordinated squadrons, but it is to advance on the Imperium fleets, seeking to split off smaller groups of the Imperium ships, cut them off and pound them into scrap. Time firing so that Ion cannon and H-Ion cannon shots hit just before other weapons, such as plasma autocannons, PEN Beams or Missiles. Alert all marine forces to prepare for boarding and split off fire teams to likely areas of the ship for boarding torpedoes to penetrate and have them ready with demo charges to destroy any before they activate.

Each fleet is to deploy mines to cover their flanks, to keep Imperium units from getting sneaky.

Move all mobile howitzers to new firing locations and ensure all emplaced howitzers have shields and point defence deployed around them. Using friendly sensor data from Mailuire, the Howitzers are to prepare a second round of fire missions, of 3 ten-round-per-gun-MRSI volleys of the same shell ratios of the first mission, but all focused on the warp tower and air base. A 4th volley is to be fired, with each gun targeting an area that friendly AIs assume an Imperium stealth vehicle is in. The shells used are 4 EMP, 4 Cluster AT and 2 LTI incendiary. The EMP should disrupt cloaking and shields, the cluster AT should hurt the vehicles even if it isn't targeted precisely and the LTI should coat the whole area in a long burning but low temperature incendiary which wont hurt the vehicles, but will coat them with fire to make them visible.

The 40,000 Pathfinder Light Tanks are to activate all of their stealth and electronic warfare systems and operate using hit and run tactics, and aiming to protect the flanks of the main force and scout for them. The CSU-400 Concordiat Super Tanks and Zelus IIs are to form a spearhead and push towards the nearest Imperium tank with twin 80cm guns and destroy it. The Lanciarii and are to assist them, with each Concordiat and Zelus II getting assigned a team of 20 Lanciarii to defend and support it, and the remaining 8000 Lanciarii operating in company strengths wherever they're needed.

The 1st Federal Air-Mobile Army Group is reinforced by the 11th Drop Army Group and are to push back into district 8, then hold the remaining districts until the Pyramid teams are ready to pull out. Focus on holding District 5 the most.

The 2 MACO Battalions and the 1st-3rd Special Operations Divisions are to secure the seeders, rigging them to blow if tampered with or if their assigned guard squads are killed or captured. They are also to find the server room in the Pyramid, access it and copy all the data they can, while rigging the Pyramid, and especially any data storage, to blow.

The fleets will continue as before with some slight alterations, namely pulling somewhat closer and spreading out the Backstabber Destroyers among the fleets. As the enemy uses warp technology as well, overlapping fields of our particular interdictor fields should not only hamper their ability to maneuver around our ships, but also hamper their delivery of troops to the surface. Using them this way should also help dilute the effect of the strange M fields around our bit of space.

And speaking of M tech, our Purgatory cruisers will continue to fire into clusters of Imperium ships, with our ships concentrating their main weapons on affected Imperium vessels to overpower and tear them apart, while using secondary weapons and launching volleys of missiles into the fray to essentially create "chaff" around use, something for Imperium weaponry to fire into without harming our own ships. Of particular important to target are the enemy Interdictors, but only when able to.

Our smallship complements will continue to fight as before, with the Occulus drones swarming any enemy fighters they find and if necessary crashing themselves into said fighters to destroy them, while our main fighters and bombers perform H-Ion and missile bombing strikes on the guns of the Imperium vessels.

The Ragnarok will continue to be the point of our defense and up its offensive power to one third to its Storm Lord cannons. It will at this time continue to use linked shots to take out clusters of Imperium ships at once, or at the least severely gut larger Imperium ships for its main central cannon to finish off.

Just in case, alert all Spino Marine forces to prepare for counter-boarding and split off fire teams to likely areas of the ship for boarding torpedoes to penetrate and have them ready with demo charges to destroy any before they activate.


Ground

Sion
1st and 2nd army

Pull back our forward elements to redeploy among our dug-in positions on the front, and pull up forces from the rear as well. It is vital that the Imperium forces do not overrun the city, lest the teams in the Temple are surrounded and cut off. Zones 39 and 49 will be abandoned entirely, in an orderly manner and not without leaving some lovely traps to greet the enemy with, in favor if allocating more resources to the zones behind. Our main artillery guns will help this by firing in volleys, creating a curtain of bombardment raining down ahead of all WU-held zones. Said artillery will be shielded not only by all availible anti-air vehicles, but the presence of the DTDW-03 Annihilators as well. The DTWW-3s will create overlapping shiels for our forces on the ground and tune them a little, forcing anything moving fast to have to slow down to advance through the shield instead of crashing into it, making them much easier targets for our troops and vehicles.

All DTDW-02 ‘Annihilators and DMHAAA-34 A2 'Dominator' Heavy Artillery/Anti Air Vehicles will redirect their fire to zone 63. Since we don't particularly care about taking this city anyway, their orders are to pound the area with shells and energy blasts until the entire zone and everything in it is nothing but craters and rubble. Only when this is accomplished will they begin lending their own firepower to support our front positions in the city.

In the meantime, the Second Army will, after layng a good amount of traps, advance into the city to catch the Imperium forces between two fronts. The artillery of Second Army will act much the same as that of the 1st Army, except as we advance so will the creeping curtain of bombardment advance. Leave the Imperium forces no places to burrow into or dig in. Heavier troops like Orc and Lupus Troopers will act as spearheads to break through particular zones of resistance, with their flanks supported by Raptorians and Legionnaires and Paladin droids. As we advance into the city, all armored and artillery vehicles will advance as well, behind the main advance but not too far in case anyone gets bright ideas to go around the advance. Gunships will perform constant sweeps of the area and provide support when needed, but generally will keep an eye on things to make sure nothing sneaks up on our forces.

Since flying creatures have indeed been reported, forces are advised to fight these foes like they fought Kragian and UNE jetpack troops and jetbike troops. As well, all RAD-24 Rapid Assault Drone are retasked to engage the flying foes and swamp them, both to bring the enemy down and to keep them from picking off our troops.


Mailure

Aera's flank and her Lancer company will immediately bring their lancers to bear and charge into the fleeing stealth tanks, using both the tracks on the ground and other means to find and destroy these vehicles. These include changing the spectrums in their visors, to simply using their jetbikes to kick up clouds of dirt and dust with which to essentially paint their targets for destruction. Aera herself will use her powers to form winds for this purpose. Once the tank destroyers are gone, they will continue into the charge with the rest of the lancers.

The other three companies of Lancers will continue their advances as before, and will be on the lookout for any more of those stealthed tank destroyers. However their primary targets remain unchanged: getting rid of those warp platforms, the artillery, the Imperium tanka with twin 80cm guns, and essentially weakening the Imperium position from behind and cutting off their ability to reinforce.

The rest of the WU 3rd Army, whose formation and plan was

3 armored companies worth of DASPA-21 A2 Hellfire Artillery, using their speed to keep up and support the lancers by targetting defensive emplacement and tanks with their missiles. Following further as the armored glove of the assault will be an armored company of DTEW-A2 'Walking Fortresses', about 16 in total, along with one hundred Knight Mechs and two companies of Dragonian Airborne, to be followed by more conventional troops once appropriate

A more conventional armored assault by the 3rd army will follow these efforts, spearheaded by DMBT-5 A4 Lawbringers supported by DLT-094 A3 ‘Dragons’ with DIFV-007 A2 Warthogs carrying squads of Legionnaire troopers for rapid deployment upon arrival. DOAT-07 Gunships supported by RAD-24 Rapid Assault Drones will provide gunship support while flying in Orc Troopers, squads of Heavy Bruddhoders, Lupus Troopers, a squad of Zionic Paladins, and a company of Spino Marines to provide the assault even more of a punch. Their targets of priority will be broader, however of great importance are the Warp Towers and Ground to Space Defenses. Destroying these will severely hamper the Imperium's ability to bring in troops and vehicles, and will aid our space forces immensely. As the Federal forces are doing, download any and all data from any and all server rooms in the Pyramid whilst we secure our position yet further. Work with federal forces to rig the seeders to be destroyed, and the pyramid itself, in case our forces are overrun. A warp position cannot be set up at this time due to the heavy interference of Interdictor and such fields in orbit above Sion from both sides as well as the difficulty of even getting a ship with the seeders to escape to friendly space. For now we must hold out.

Map

The Imperium fleet advances through the wrecks of allied fleets and begun to put more pressure WU and Federal Fleets. USSB ships have double down on their assault on the Imperium ships trying what they could to save allied fleets. The WU fleet continues their attack and suffered heavy losses but managed to destroy two of their interdictors in the progress. The Imperium begun targeting the Backstabber Destroyers and several of them were lost. The fighters had little luck against enemy fighters as they would cloak the moment the drones got a lock and with the M particle effect other sensors were unable to pick them back up. Some reports state some enemy fighters would decloak to reveal themselves and as the drone pursue the other enemy fighters would decloak behind or below the drones and quickly take them out.

The Ragnarok was the ship that took out one of the Interdictors and a few other ships but after that Imperium begun to fire on the Ragnarok and her escorts. Shields are holding for now but the Ragnarok has been shooting down large waves of enemy missiles. It appears they're trying to overwhelm the Ragnarok's point defense systems. The Ragnarok is also taking out of sight fire from powerful beam shots however the location of the shots have been hard to figure out at the moment.

The Federal Fleet advances and tries to divides the hostile fleet and some of the squadrons managed to surround some of their ships and destroyed a few of them. But most of them Phase Warp to allied ships. One ship however phase warped ontop of a mine causing it to be destroyed completely. The Imperium Fleet counter attacks and cause heavy losses for the Federal Fleet.

Reports that the USV flagship the USF Monroe has been confirmed destroyed. The USSB managed to destroy an enemy Interdictor while allied got reports that four more Warp Probes have entered the battlespace and strong energy patterns have been detected. Allied fleets are deploying dropships and cargoships to the surface to help evac their forces if needed.

Ground

Map

Allied forces have set up three evac sits with ships landing on the ground and forming up defensive positions.

WU forces are continuing to dig in and reinforce along with East and West Sindam forces. Allied AO weapon systems are trying to support the fleet in orbit.

City

Map

WU redeployment of forces went all without issue. Second Army begun their advance without issue as the artillery was able to clear out Imperium troops at first. They managed to retake Districts 56 and 57 however District 36 put up heavy resistance as most of their troops survived the artillery barrage. WU forces suffer heavy losses as they encountered an Imperium force called Drop Marines whom lay heavy fire on WU forces. The Imperium flyers were not as effective as before due to WU forces past experience with flying infantry. WU gunships would more often get shot down by Imperium AA that appears to be well entrenched in their parts of the city. At the same time the Imperium launched an assault on District 6 and Federal forces were being pushed back but because of the WU assault most of their Drop Marines were pulled back to fight against the incoming WU forces leaving the district in a stalemate at the moment.

With the Imperium unable to advance through WU lines at the southern point of the front they put more troops on the western districts and allied forces suffer heavy losses and are in near full retreat as the Imperium takes Districts with ease. They hit WU forces at District 67 hard and almost lost the district if it wasn't for WU calling in a massive series of danger close fire missions to force the Imperium back for now. In the eastern half of the city allied forces were forced back as the Imperium continue to make record gains in the city.

The Tempestas Class Aerospace Carriers move into position and begun providing much needed fire support to allied forces and have been successful so far. They deployed drop pods with drones to support the special forces team at the warp tower. As the drop pods drop they took heavy losses from enemy AA fire but enough of them landed near the objective and carried on. Under fire they made it to the team and once the bubble shield was deployed The Tempestas Class Aerospace Carriers launched their fire mission and destroyed the warp tower. The team begins to exfil out of the area while the drones are providing cover.

The Imperium launched an assault on District 1 with heavy armor and infantry. The assault was more than the Federal Troops could handle and had to pull back relying on fire mission to keep the Imperium at bay for the time being.

All data has been secured and destroyed by Federal and WU forces and are exfiling from the area as we speak.

Mailure

Map

The Federal artillery attack had great effect and managed to destroy a few platforms and firebases. The main Warp Platform took damage but the work continues on while their airbase took heavy damage.

The Lancer Companies had some success and with 3rd Army and Federal support managed to destroy one of the mech tanks. As allied forces tried to push forward they were hit by a large airborne force of CAS crafts, gunships, and airborne mechs. The Lancers took heavy losses from the enemy air units. allied forces begun to face off against heavy armor forces (tanks, walkers, and mechs) with thousands of infantry counter attacking and caused heavy loses for allied forces to the point allied troops are pulling back. WU and Federal forces are holding their ground and is calling in close air support and fire missions from artillery and Tempestas Class Aerospace Carriers.

The Imperium Mech Tanks begins to Bombard WU and allied forces in Sion with the entrenched positions as the main target. No major losses reported yet but the tanks are using the same type of cannons their ships are using.

The Drone fighters have a new objective, since the enemy appears to have rather annoying stealth shit going on. Instead they along with our regular fighters will form defensive formations around squadrons of regular and stealth bombers, whose new target is all enemy missile systems as well as their weaponry in general. If they see anything that looks like an external shield generator or bridge, hit that too, but focus primarily on their weapon systems.

The Ragnarok will be put to full power at last to all its weapon systems. It will throw out curtains of its own missiles in response to the missile swarms, and each of its 'leg' cannons will target and fire at individual targets at full power. Its escorts will stay close to throw out their own defensive missiles and point defense, as well as lend their own firepower with their forward cannons. Send out stealth fighters and probes to locate where these beams are coming from, so that they may be targeted by the Ragnarok's central CAC cannon.

The rest of the fleet will form up into wedges and advance into the fray, since trying to outshoot the Imperium seems to not be working worth anything. Protect the remaining interdictors and use them to stop the enemy from teleporting around us, as well as clear up some of the M particles. All ships are advised to put more power to their engines and weapons since our shields aren't doing a damn thing, and are ordered to if necessary ram themselves into enemy ships to split them open. Thanks to the dagger-shape of just about every ship we have, this should help, so abandon those forward sections and seal them off to prevent crew losses and avoid unecessary damage. Getting so close should at the least allow us to overpower or even shoot through their own shielding.


A call for that reinforcements will also be sent to Junker, to summon ten More fleets to join the fight.

Sion
Second Army
Continue the previous tactics into the city, preceded by massive bombardment as before. With the deployment of the Imperiums own Drop Troopers, Lupus Troopers will be brought up to deal with them with their Lupus Crossbows. Bring up more Shield troops to cover the frontal assaults, while human and raptorian infantry cover the flanks. Dragonoid Airborne will use their jetpacks to hit spots farther off as well.

Since their leader decided to speed off, the twenty Chancellor Guard attaches to Aera will take part in the push into Sion, supported by a squad of Zionic Paladins who will use reborn abilities to protect both themselves and the guard while the Guard get to work.

First Army
As with Second Army, begin pushing a counter attack against the Imperium using the same tactics as before. Don't worry about taking and holding areas however: we have no need of the city. Focus instead on killing as many Imperium Troopers as possible and coordinating artillery strikes and the like with Second Army.

The Temple forces will join with Federal Forces in whatever sally they plan, with the priority of defending the Seeders at all costs.


Mailure

Pull back all forces and advise all allied troops do the same. Two companies of Lancers will guide Aera as she prepares to unleash a supercharged Force Nuke right into the back of the Imperium Lines. The proper radius will be provided so that our troops know where to go so that they aren't hit by the resulting blastwave. Aera herself will make sure to pick a spot that hits just about the entire Imperium set up, and to guard her while she moves into position, the companis of Lancers previously noted will defend the Empress with their lives. Twenty Knight Mechs will also take part in this, and will shield Aera at all costs until she can deliver her blow. Our forces will remain in a position to assault immediately after the shockwave from her spell settles down and engage whatever forces happen to remain, before heading back to Sion.

Map

Allied fleets suffer heavy losses though USSB, Federal, and WU ships are doing the best right now and is able to form an effective resistance against the Imperium. The WU unleashes the full power of the Ragnarok and was able to destroy an enemy carrier, two battlecruisers, and the remaining interdictors. The Ragnarok is taking heavy damage but is able to throw some of it right back at the enemy. The fighters detected drones that appear to be flying cannons firing on the fleet. The cannons moved fast and the fighters had trouble staying on them. The cannons would turn and fire on the fighters destroying a few of them. But some of the flying cannons were destroyed as well.

Several Task Groups worth of ships have arrived in the system through phase warp. They appear to be in a defensive formation as it suggests something bigger is coming in.

Sion

Overall situation is somewhat stable though Imperium artillery strikes, aircrafts, and airborne mechs hit several positions hard but they're holding for now.

City

Map

WU forces managed to take districts 58, 59, 55, and 61. Federal forces were forced to retreat from district 2 though it was a highly organized withdrawal as the Pyramid teams have moved out of the Pyramid with the POWs, seeders and all data. They're currently in district 5 with forces in district 1 is operating in a rear guard action against overwhelming forces. Though they are holding at the moment. All other allied forces have been forced out of the city by Imperium forces and WU forces lost district 28 and 27. However WU forces were able to counter attack and retook district 27.

Mailure

Map

All allied and Federal forces have left the area as requested by the WU. Aera begun charging up her attack as her troops protect her as she charging. They got attack by massive mech assault. Several of her Knights were destroyed by airborne mechs and by mechs zooming by on hoverjets that gives them high speed. As overall attacking Imperium forces were advancing on WU forces with ease until Federal artillery begun bombarding the area and suppressed the attacking forces.

Aera's attack was fully charged and unleashed a S-Class Force attack at the center of the Imperium lines. The blast wiped out the center of the Imperium formation along with their airbase, warp platform, and their remaining heavy mech tanks. Parts of Mailure have been wiped out as well and the city is currently on fire.

Plan:
Space:
Some Tempestas Class Aerospace Carriers are to lay down two lines of fire, between 53, 50 and 48, with another group flattening the area between those lines. Once the middle is cleared, maintain the two lines of fire to keep the corridor clear. The purpose of this is to provide a cleared line between the northern and southern groups of WU forces, to allow the northern forces to connect with the main group. The remaining Tempestas are to lay down heavy fire in front of the remaining Federal and WU lines, to break up Imperium attacks.

The Tempestas are to deploy all remaining satellites, to provide a security cordon in space above Sion.

Recall 20% of the Zweihanders and equip them with fighter defence modules, to act as heavy CAP flights to protect our ships from small craft and the drone cannons.

Reform the fleets, with the majority of our capital ships pulling back from the main line of combat, with some lighter units pulling back to the gap between the light and heavy ships, to act as communication relays. The units close to the Imperium fleets are to provide targeting and observation to the capital ships, to allow them to make the best use of their heavy guns and prow cannons. Each capital ship is to fire five volleys of shots in a pattern unique to each ship. The light units will sensor map the shots and relay the data to the capital ships, allowing their AI to create a targeting grid, so the light units can call in fire support, without the capital ships having to be able to lock onto specific targets. (Basically, its using AI assisted dead reckoning to plot fire. This really should work just fine.)

Detach 100 Colleita Class Frigates, 20,000 Zweihander Class Bombers and 200,000 Cutlass Class Assault Shuttles from the fleet and send them to Sion. The Frigates are to get close enough to make use of their automatic grenade launchers and gatling defence cannons, and are to deploy in squadrons of 4 ships, to provide eachother with support. The bombers are to base themselves on the nearest Tempestas Aerospace Carriers and preform constant high-altitude bombing runs on Imperium positions, using guided bombs targeted by friendly ground forces, aerial units or orbital observation. The Cutlass Class Assault Shuttles are to fly close in fire support missions for the ground forces, and be on call to redeploy units to hotspots, or to extract units in danger of being cut off.

Ground:
All forces outside Sion and in the mountain fortresses are to gather allied forces with them to move to the FOB, where the AO guns and Clydesdales are parked south of Sion, to rearm and prepare to move into the city.

Move all mobile howitzers to new firing locations and ensure all emplaced howitzers have shields and point defence deployed around them. Assign 20% of the guns to support fire to the forces in Mailure. Assign 20% of the guns to act as rapid response, hitting any located AA vehicle, emplacement or team with a full 10 round MRSI volley from one howitzer, as soon as it's spotted, with a second to follow up if the target isn't destroyed. The remaining 60% of the guns are to be used to provide close fire support to Federal forces, scattering Imperium assaults or suppressing their positions while we advance.

The 1st Federal Air-Mobile Army Group and 11th Drop Army Group and are to collapse back on districts 5 and 6, leaving mines, and timed and sensor triggered demolition charges behind them, as well as RS-1 Remote Sensor Relays to guide artillery fire. From there, they are to attack 36, to complete the encircling of the Imperium forces in 35, 37, 38, 39 and 40, since the Tempestas are clearing 53, 50 and 48. Once encircled, split the forces in half, with one half guarding against the Imperium troops outside the circle, while the other half attacks the circle. Call in fire support as they advance, if there's a hard target or groups of enemies, call it in before attacking.

The 2 MACO Battalions and the 1st-3rd Special Operations Divisions are to secure the seeders, rigged to blow. They are to form up and make a straight run south to the FOB, then hunker down and hold it and the Seeders against counter attack.

Mailure:
As soon as the effects of the "Force Nuke" start to ease off, the Pathfinder Light Tanks are to charge around the flanks of the remaining Imperium forces, to encircle them and provide intel on which of their units are still combat effective, and pass that on to the heavies and fire support. The CSU-400 Concordiat Super Tanks, Zelus IIs and Lanciarii are to move in, focusing on the Imperium units fastest to recover or least effected by the blast, to get rid of the toughest remaining enemies first. Gang up on them and hit as hard and fast as they can.

Once the Imperium forces around Mailure are cleared up, land a few Tempestas Class Aerospace Carriers to retrieve as much examples of Imperium tech as we can gather, and send the remaining forces back to Sion.
It's not that one bullet with your name on it that should worry you, it's the hundreds of artillery shells raining down with "To whom it may concern" written on them.

Federal ships were able to counter the Imperium's drone cannons and have confirmed some confirmed kills. The WU stealth boat assault managed to destroy several enemy assault ships which shut down some of the drone cannons. Federal ships have been deployed and captured the drone cannons for study.

WU reinforcement fleets drop in close to the warp probes, even destroying a few of them via ramming. Imperium defense ships defended the remaining probes while taking heavy fire. WU ships were taking heavy losses but was beating the Imperium ships. A massive blue light consumes 15 km worth of space and after a moment a massive 12km warship appeared. WU reinforcement ships begun to fire on the 12km long ship and is unable to break through the shields. The Mega Dreadnought ignores the WU ships and WU scanners are detecting a massive power output. A few minutes later a massive beam is fired from the warship and tears through allied fleets and strikes the WU captured station, destroying it with only stardust remaining. WU ships continued their attack on the Mega Dreadnought to no effect. The Mega Dreadnought smaller weapon systems begun engaging WU ships and the WU fleets are taking heavy losses from the attack.

USSB ships are moving through the battle to support WU reinforcement fleets.

City Battle

Map

All Federal forces outside of the city have regrouped at the FOBs. The Tempestas lay fire on 53, 50, and 48 and had great effect. Due to heavy fire support and air support allied forces managed to take 36, 53, 50, 48 and surrounded a section of the Imperium. However allied forces have been unable to advance in the trapped districts as the Imperium forces in the districts are putting up heavy resistance.

Allied forces have held all but the 1st district from Imperium assault.

Both WU and Federal units have taken the seeders to the FOB and are awaiting orders.


Mailure

Map

The Pathfinders tried to outflank the enemy got ran into enemy counter attacks at the start. The western flankers attack has stalled due to the Imperium blowing the bridge over the river. The eastern assault went well as it was able to overwhelm the counter attackers but is facing heavier resistance the further they advance even with fire missions from Tempestas Class Aerospace Carriers its been hard.

The Imperium seems to have some interesting Power Armor types that have made things harder than expected. One version found seems to be a purely airborne PA and another appears to be an Artillery PA being used in an anti-tank role. Teams have been moving examples of the armor and other weapons and tech to the landed Tempestas Class Aerospace Carrier.

Map

WU forces launch their counterattack that was slightly delayed and in the west forced the Imperium back and with Federal forces pushed them back until they faced heavy resistance. In the east WU forces supported Federal forces and their combined might forced back the Imperium to the city where they took defensive positions. Allied forces overran an Imperium Firebase and a Ground to Space Defense platform.

Aera is continuing her rest as she has used most of her energy in the attack so she is relaxing drinking from a juice box.

Losses

WU: 3,485 killed, 2,384 wounded, 283 vehicles destroyed
Federal: 483 killed, 833 wounded, 188 vehicles destroyed
