Your Armory

Postby Sapper007 » Sun Mar 27, 2011 3:40 pm

This Thread is to show your armory, or your wishlist for an armory, either or, but remember to define which weapons you own and which weapons you dont. If you post pictures of your actual weapons be sure to conceal the serial numbers on them, as the serials(in most cases) can be traced back to an actual address.
RULES"
1. Name the weapon (perferrably with a picture)

2. Explain the reason you own/want one.

3. Explain any modifications you have made or attachments

My arsenal is rather simple....
Assault Rifle
I have an Armalite AR15A2 National Match. Kind of...
It became more of a project than anything else...
I like the full length upper reciever and the accuracy it can provide w/out a scope and the weight ratio that comes with it... the orginal upper, pistol grip, butt-stock, and bolt carrier group, however, sits in a rubbermaid container in my shop, it has never seen a round go through it from me.

Modifications:
GGG dominator upper reciever(yes I know its 1 in 9 but I don't take this to engage outside of 350m.)
Accuwedge. The dominator was rather loose in the lower receiver so this was a must have.
UTG Tactical grip. Because it feels awesome.
GGG looped reciever plate single point sling adapter
Rock River Arsenal(RRA) Operator stock.
BCM GF-HC4 charging handle
MAGPUL Enhanced Trigger Guard
Lewis Machine and Tool(LMT) Two stage trigger. (Painfully adjusted to about 3.75 lbs pull in the second stage)
LMT Enhanced bolt carrier group

Attachments:
EOTech 512 (the night vision button wasnt worth the extra $150 at the time)
Knights Armament Vertical foregrip (because I had one lying around)
GGG bipod

Battle Rifle
Springfield M1A1 mod with SAGE kit
Image

Modifications:
the SAGE EBR kit

Attachnments:
Harris English 9in swivel bipod.
I have the Trijicon TA11 with .308 dual illuminated donut.

Living where I do, I unfortunately lack an appropriate armory. However, I do maintain a humble set of tools for self defence when the zombie outbreak/Alien invasion hits, none of these weapons of much range, unfortunately, but I stay practiced with them.

Chief amongst them; The shovel (This is the only one I'm really bothering to upload though).

Image

Then we have the Home Grown weapons....More of a quick close range situational tool than a true weapon, but the two favorites of mine I have bothered to upload; Home grown bacterial malodorants...

This one was the Alpha, a small jar with little in the way of technique involved in its cultivation, it used only substances found outdoors in its cultivation, and no meats or the like. It seems to have died, and has little in the way of actual stench anymore, but I keep it around just in case. Back in its glory days it had quite a stench, and a gletinous mass formed within it that gave off quite the trauma to the nose. Ask DC3 if you will, he had the balls to ask for a sample to inspect under a microscope, and I believe he is still recovering from the horror of breathing in the air around the sample of the alpha.

Then we have the most successful jar to date. This one had all sorts in its cultivation, Sugar, Ham, Chicken, Beef, Vegetables (Spinich mostly), worms, grass, blood and some other assorted substances. Whereas DC3 is still merely recovering from the stench of the alpha...I am actually afraid to open the larger jar, it smells that freaking bad. A large mass of mould with a gletinous multicoloured goop above it has formed on the top of the jar, what I think might have been sugar, but is now merely some form of depleted powder (And I don't want to inspect it, that means trying to get through the mould layer, and that shit STINKS). I opened this thing to check on its progress once, I had to leave the windows open and leave a fan on for DAYS before the room stopped smelling of what I imagine the Thing smells like.

As for what I WANT to own...Well, the list is long, and until I move to Finland, Canada, the States or the Great British revolution happens, I ain't getting my hands on any of them...Except perhaps one or two airsoft guns, at least until they get banned here as well

What I own or is in the house with the family -

Pilot's Survival Knife
Image

Type 99 Rifle
Image

Two Hunting Shotguns of the 12 gauge variety
Image

And I believe two other rifles.... haven't seen them in awhile. Mostly likely .30-06s
Image

And should the worst happen - a fully stocked garden shed. And when I mean fully stocked - I mean we even have one of these.
Image

What I want (ignoring legality issues for the time)
-

SPAS-12 (With foldablestock)
Image
- The first weapon I want to get is a shotgun and I would love to have this Italian classic. But..... that's gonna be kinda hard.

Flaregun
Image
- Just in case.

2 Glock 21 Pistols (Preferably both with the laser and flash light attachment)
Image
- I want some smaller weapons around the house in easy to reach locations (adult-wise).

I'll add the rifles I want later.

I have a hunting bow and a sword-cane I bought at a convention some years ago...

Honestly, I'm good with that.

Guns that I own...
Wyoming gun laws are amazingly lenient.

One Mosin Nagant
Image
This isn't a photo of my personally owned one, but the kit that came with it was EXACTLY the same.

Two 12-gauge shotguns. One is pump action, the other is a double-barrel.
Two 4-10 shotguns, both single barrel.
My father, being in the highway patrol, uses a Glock-22 and an AR-15 variant of some sort. The only modification I know of is a holographic sight. Don't ask me the brand...
Two .270 hunting rifles
A muzzle-loading black-powder musket with Hexagonal barrel.
A cheap .22 bolt action with 6x scope.
Two marlin semi-auto .22 rifles with no modifications.

So yeah. Come any zombie apocalypse, I'll be fine.
I'll post photo's as soon as the semester dies down...
(I do have an assortment of gardening tools that we never use...)
I missed the Cartoon Network Civil War...
