The Legend of Korra

Postby ZomBninjasamurai » Sat Mar 24, 2012 1:24 pm

Well, I just watched the first two episodes of this, I fully expected to be completely disappointed. Fortunately, I was not, I am definitely going to be watching this show as it progresses, hopefully, into something that could rival it's predecessor.

You should come inside the box...
If Harley Quinn is your favorite character, you're not a comic book fan, you're a Batman: The Animated Series fan.

So a little bit of 1950's version avatar with another bender taking Aang's place, and discrimination against benders?

Meh, I'll give it a try.

I'm actually really psyched. I've only seen a few trailers, but I definately plan on watching it. The Last Airbender was amazing. Best amarican anime...

Saw it a few days ago, pretty good. Toph's daughter is cool, I wonder if it will only be one "book".

No one has posted on here lately, sooooo........

Seen the first few episodes. Really enjoy it. I like Korra sooo much better than Aang.
Hope for the best. Plan for the worst.

Watching it changed my opinion about it. I am pleased.

Cars, lightningbending for electricity, and Metalebending spiderman like police. It's everything I'd except would happen as time progressed with bending being apart of the culture. cept the spiderman police.
Series so far is turning out a lot better then I expected. Especially Korra's introduction.

Yeah it's not half bad. I never really got into Aang's saga since the setting or characters weren't too appealing. This one's setting is more interesting to me though. Not too thrilled with the characters yet except for Aang's son and Amon, but the whole tech + magic city stuff is pretty cool, reminds me of a Jade Empire type thing.

Also, that Mako guy is voiced by Bud Bundy. I'm sure he hates only being identified with Bud, but I'm hoping the Avatar folks make a "Grandmaster M" reference at some point in the series.
