I wasn't being serious when I said that. Even though Pit had (and started off with) the Great Sacred Treasure in vs Megatron though

But yeah, Kratos still loses

Probably.

In Chapter 25, after the Great Sacred Treasure is destroyed, it looks like Pit is falling 5,000 feet (1,524 m.). It's kind of hard to tell, so I've been trying to compare the land below him to actual land at 5,000 feet. You can watch this video and pause at 10 seconds and compare it to Pit's fall. With that in mind, I should try finding out how much Pit weighs. Unlike the ending of Kid Icarus if you have 999 hearts where Pit grows up, Nintendo decided to retain his more child-like appearance. I'll assume Pit weighs 125 lbs (57 kg.).

Distance is 1,524 meters.
-
Gravity is 9.8 m/s/s.
-
1,524 * 9.8 * 2 is 29,870.4
-
The square root of 29,870.4 is 172.83 m/s, or 567 ft./s, which is 389.56 mph.
-
To find the kinetic energy before impact, I must take 29,870.4 and multiply it by the mass of the object.
-
29,870.4 * 57 is 1,702,612.8.
-
1,702,612.8 * .5 is 851,306.4.
-
To find the force of impact, I’ll assume Pit went half an inch, or 1.27 cm.

851,306.4 / 1.27 is 670,320 Newtons.

I've been thinking about that part where Pit dodges that beam in Lunar Sanctum. I've simply restricted the speed to 1,609 m/s, but it might be traveling at a much greater speed. Unfortunately, I don't know how fast it's actually going. t = d/s, and if the distance covered was 1,609 meters, and the speed is 1,609 meters, then you end up with Pit having 1 second. The thing is, the reaction to that beam is lesser than that. If the speed is 3,218 m/s, then Pit's RT was 500 ms. If it's 4,827 m/s, then Pit's RT was 333 ms. So, as you can see, the more speed that is added, the lower Pit's RT is. Lower is better, but I really can't say what Pit's RT is based off of this. I think we'll need to find another feat.

Although this calculation is correct, the last part is incorrect because it was divided by 1.27 meters, not 0.0127 meters, which is 1.27 centimeters. The force is actually 67,032,000 N, which is equal to 7,534.73 tons-force. Prior to impact, this would have been 851,306.40 J, or 204 grams of TNT.

The time assumed for Pit falling in Kid Icarus: Uprising, The War's End, Chapter 25 was assumed to be 1,524 meters (5,000 ft.). Again, using the equation, d = vit 1/2 at^2, I will find out a more accurate distance. Below were three different sets of time, and after that I divided by 3 to get an average time.

00:00'20"34
00:00'20"29
00:00'20"20
00:00'60"83

60.83 / 3 = 20.28 s

d = vit 1/2 at^2
d = 1/2 (9.8 m/s)(20.28 s)^2
d = 1/2 (9.8 m/s)(411.28 s)
d = 1/2 (4,030.53 m.)
d = 2,015.26 m. (6,610 ft.)

So the assumed distance wasn't too far off. Now for gravitation potential energy and the velocity at which Pit was traveling. I will use Pit's assumed mass and the impact.

U = mgh
U = (57 kg.)(9.8 N/kg.)(2,015.26 m.)
U = (558.6 N)(2,015.26 m.)
U = 1,125,724.236 N m

1,125,724.236 N m / 0.0127 m. = 88,639,703.62 N, or 9,927.65 tons-force. For velocity, that's 479.31 m/s, or 1,071.93 mi/h, which is Mach 1.4. Keep in mind drag was not considered here, so the numbers would likely be lower.

It took Pit 39.64 seconds to get to the Lunar Sanctum after the laser fired. If the distance between Pit and LS was half a mile, that'd mean Pit's average speed is 45 mi/h. If it's a mile away, then Pit's average speed is 91 mi/h. As for the beam, it takes me to click the timer to stop it. I end up with 0.130 seconds.

If the distance is 1 mi., then the beam fired at 27,692 mi/h (Mach 36). If half a mile, then it traveled 13,846 mi/h (Mach 18). So anything slower would mean it's difficult for Pit to get struck by his opponents. But we must consider all feats and address inconsistencies to make Pit, like any character, balanced.

Edit: I calced this again because my last calc waited for Pit to be in the LS. So if it's a mile away, Pit's average speed is 213 mi/h. If half a mile, then 123 mi/h. This is because the time was 31.36. And to clarify, Pit's RT is 130 milliseconds based on that calc above.

Edit: I erred again. 1 mi. would be 114.8 mi/h. Half a mile would be 57 mi/h.

In the video where Pit flies into Lady Palutena's force field (this is when LP is evil), I assumed the distance of the launch was 200 meters away. I clocked 27 milliseconds. Assuming the distance, time, and laws of physics are applicable, Pit flew at 740.74 meters per second (1,656.57 mi/h), or Mach 2.16.

I don't see 100 m. being reasonable here, but 150? Sure. So at 150 m., I end up with 555.56 m/s, or Mach 1.62. Still fast, but any inconsistencies should be addressed so that we end up a reasonable interpretation and not inflate numbers.
