The Legend of Zelda Respect Thread

Postby Negative Zero » Wed Mar 14, 2012 2:42 pm

This is where I'll post feats and such on the various LoZ characters and whatnot.

I'll start off with some strength feats of some of the various Links.

Link (Twilight Princess)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AE6x19jE6Vk
Link is able to repeatedly pick up and throw Dangoro (huge armored Goron).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8LbGz3IVfQ
(1:40-6:20)
Link is strong enough to trip Fyrus just by tugging on his leg chains.
-
Link (Skyward Sword)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yatz_JTcTdg
Link pushes car sized logs as well as throwing human sized boulders.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dmkem-whyM
(4:15-13:30)
Link is able to pick up and effectively wield a weapon at least twice his size.
-
Link (Ocarina of Time)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wBGY3_TrHg
(0:10-0:22)
Link (using the Silver Gauntlets) is able to push a massive stone block at least weighing multiple tons.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48AEDFgH4jY
(3:40-6:10)
Link (using the Golden Gauntlets) is able to pick up and throw gigantic stone pillars (at least 2 or 3 times the height of the block in the previous video) that weigh at least dozens of tons.

Also, the Silver Gauntlets were stated to give Link the strength of an army while the Golden Gauntlets icrease his strength at least twice as much as the Silver Gauntlets did.
-
Link (Wind Waker)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZqtVgSB4gw
(0:40-0:45)
Link (using the Power Bracelets) is able to pick up and throw a giant stone head carving.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prbyMClRf7M
(4:00-4:55)
Link (using the Power Bracelets) is able to pick up and throw rocks ranging from a few, to many, to possibly even dozens of tons.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nY7EBs5mZ4
Link (using the Power Bracelets) is able to pick up and throw Jalhalla (while he's solid) multiple times rather easily.

It's much less impressive then his feats against Dangoro and Fyrus, but still puts his strength at superhuman level.

Impressive as it was he had the Iron Boots weighing him down. Therefore it wasn't entirely a strength feat

Wrong, his weight had NOTHING to do with his lifting strength.

Not weighing him down, I mean keeping him grounded. Bad wording on my part >_>

Ah, but the fact remains that it was his own strength that allowed him to pick up and throw those Gorons around. The Iron Boots were more like an anchor then anything lol.

kinda what I meant to say. That stopping its momentum wasn't entirely a strength feat

Oh, I was just reffering to the picking up and throwing part. Although, even with the Iron Boots helping with the momentum, Link stoping a Goron mid-roll is impressive in itself. Just imagine the force pushing foward from what's essentially a living boulder. Link stopped that with just his arms.

But I do see what you're saying about momentum though.

Now I'll post feats and powers for Agahnim and Skull Kid.

Agahnim
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iC0KIrKIEYM
(1:40-2:30)
Agahnim broke the seal keeping Ganon imprisoned, killed the king of Hyrule, mind controled Hyrule's military, and sealed away the decendents of the 7 Wise Men.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9KZOChSxvU
Agahnim can use Dead Man's Volley, a spell that splits on contact with something, teleport, and shoot lightning.
(1:20-1:23)
Trying to directly attack Agahnim actually damages the attacker.

(3:35-3:45)
Agahnim can pull people into the Dark World.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHn7eli6uic
Agahnim can create 2 intangible copies of himself.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VuKyd5w2GI
Agahnim shows the ability to teleport around so fast it appears as if he's "flashing" between different places.
-
Skull Kid
*Note that all of Skull Kids feats apply to Majora as well, since he was using the power of Majora's Mask.*
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzgH57VW-l4
(1:35-1:45)
Skull Kid can appear out of thin air.

(4:30-5:50)
Skull Kid shows the ability to levitate as well as transmutate (turning Link into a Deku). Although it's not shown in this video, Skull Kid can also turn an adult into a child (like he did to Kafei).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSGZkYZBABY
(5:35-6:20)
The puple colored water in Southern Swamp was actually poisoned by Skull Kid using the power of Majora's Mask.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONazE4_gBgo
Skull Kid uses the power of Majora's Mask to create an endless blizzard at Snowhead Mountain.

Although I can't find a good video showing this, but Skull Kid also made the water in Great Bay murky and unfit to hatch Zora eggs in using Majora's Mask's power.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VW0DScIYx3k
(4:55-5:15)
Sharp reveals that Skull Kid was the one who ressurected the dead at Ikana Canyon.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IsIB5L1emg
(1:35-1:55)
Skull Kid starts to bring down the moon, which he created using Majora's Mask, to destroy all of Termina in a big cataclysmic explosion. Even though the player in the video didn't attempt this, Skull Kid can also use his mask to deflect arrows of any type, including Light Arrows.
-
My next updates will focus on Ganondorf, Majora, Zant, Ghirahim, Demise, Chancellor Cole, and Malladus.

I unfortunately know next to nothing about Vaati, General Onox, Veran, Nightmare, and Bellum. If anybody knowledgeable of these villains could post feats on them, that would be greatly appreciated.
