Not a feat per say but it is very interesting
When the balance of power between the Nobility and humanity shifted, a portion of the Nobility sealed themselves in their coffins and retreated far into the mountains, the desolate valleys, the depths of the sea, or even geosynchronous orbit twenty-thousand miles above the earth t osleep for millennia.

General Gaskell
“In addition, the general deciphered ancient scrolls even the Greater Nobility in the Capital knew nothing about, and then went on to test the power he gained from them on his own subjects. A meteor he called from the depths of space with pinpoint accuracy had obliterated a certain village, and even now a crater thirty miles wide remained at the site. Causing earthquakes and floods or releasing new varieties of beasts and monsters was easy enough for him. On one occasion he moved an entire mountain to crush a village of rebellious subjects, and after using preservation equipment on the corpses of those he’d tortured and killed, he piled them into a pyramid that was said to have grown ten thousand feet high over the course of five centuries.”
-
“However, what Gaskell used so well to keep the forces from the Capital at an overwhelming disadvantage for fifty years of fighting was the ability to make matter disappear. Through whatever means, he was able to make a given creature or object vanish without any kind of energy conversion at all. Thousands at a time vanished from the army of emotionless soldiers bearing down on the general’s stronghold, with wide holes quickly opening in the ranks as if something had taken a bite out of the spot. That was how an account from a soldier at the front described it.”

Left hand fire ball
“The watery spear slashed through the air. When D’s blade deflected it, the world grew pale blue, for the left hand he’d extended had disgorged flames. Pale blue in color, they must’ve had incredible energy, because the instant they touched the water it evaporated, leaving a gap a good thirty feet deep.”

This particular type of alien from VHD is "unaffected by beam weapons"
his opponent hauled back it's long spear, then hurled it at Gilzen. Easily batting it aside with his scepter, the nobleman aimed the black jewel adorning the scepters top at his foe. The beam it unleashed was black as ink. It bounced off his opponents cheer, melting the floor by D's feet and sending up scalding vapor. It was an insanely powerful beam.
"This light can penetrate three floors--punching through a hundred feet of rock," said Gilzen. "It looks like I have a for unaffected by beam weapons."

D can either teleport now or he was fast enough to move.
Something happened. It was something to rival even the cosmic terror that lurked in the memory of the Milky Way a miracle, even. Blood light shot from D's eyes and it seared Gilzen's eyes and brain. Still sunk in the snowbank, Lourie saw the thing that'd been Gilzen stagger and back away. As if frightened by some tremendously huge power.
D jumped clear, swinging his right hand sharply. Flying from it to pierce Gilzen's chest was the sword Gilzen had used to split D's right hand. As the giant grabbed it by the hilt and tried desperately to pull it out, D sprang at his chest. Gilzen instantly vanished. He'd used his ability to teleport. And it put him right behind D. However, D wasn't there. He, too, had vanished. Gilzen suddenly stood stock still in astonishment and D appeared right by his chest The Hunter's bloodied hand seized the hilt that jutted from the Nobleman's chest, and D pushed with all his might. The blade of the sword protruded from the duke's back.

Pseudo-Vampires
“Though nothing compared to a genuine Noble, they still possessed monstrous strength equal to that of ten men and a fairly indestructible nature, able to live without food or drink as long as they had blood for sustenance. What’s more, these fiends could move about in the midday sun like human beings, something Nobles and even dhampirs couldn’t do.”

“Vampire Hunter D: Scenes of an Unholy War

Pseudo-Vampire sight
“Boss—there’s a house!” one of the scouts riding at the front of the group shouted, pointing to a spot in the distant expanse of black. This was a man with eyes so sharp they could make out a pebble a dozen miles away in the darkness.”

“Vampire Hunter D Scenes of an Unholy War

The suction power of left hand
“Before it could finish speaking, the air started to howl. The trees to either side of the road shook, their branches and leaves all bending in unison toward the Hunter’s left hand. Toward the tiny face in the palm of his hand—and its even tinier mouth. It was sucking in air with terrific force. The wind was so great, the scenery became distorted. The wooden bridge collapsed, the trees tore apart—and then even the colors drained from the scene as it became a fog swallowed by the mouth on the Hunter’s palm.
The mouth closed.
Immediately, the wind ceased.
The cyborg horse whinnied. Rider and steed stood in the same spot as before, but the brook and the bridge had suddenly vanished. Only the road the cyborg horse was on stretched before them. In silence, without lauding the left hand for its efforts, D gave a kick to his steed’s flanks.”

“Vampire Hunter D Volume 21: Record of the Blood Battle

Left hand eats a thermal Ray and uses it to empower D
“The thermal rays angled down. The tiny mouth snapped open as far as it could go. The red glow was sucked into it like a stream of blood. But who ever heard of a mouth that ate rays?
“That’s a good hearty meal, there,” the mummy heard a voice say.
D’s chest remained engulfed in flames, but he became a black wind as he kicked off the floor. The blistering beams had been turned into life force by his body, making him look like a burning mannequin. There was no telling how much power he had behind the sword he brought down over the mummy’s head. The steely armor that should’ve protected the mummy was split from the top of his head all the way down to his crotch, and then another horizontal slash left him in quarters that dropped to the floor. No blood flowed from him. He hadn’t had any from the very start.”

D vs. group of Hunters
“The sunlight became dappled as it fell through the trees. A shadowy figure dropped from above. Silvery gleams crossed right above D’s head. A sharp ting! followed the small figure that was swallowed by the treetops to the left.
Swinging like a pendulum from a rope tied to a tree on the opposite side of the road, his opponent had apparently enjoyed some success. With blood still spurting from his right side, D had already galloped another hundred yards. The shadowy figure’s weapons had been tegaki claws, and the bright blood dripping from the treetops where his opponent had vanished told D something. The lone blow he’d dealt the man had fatally wounded him.”
-
“From up ahead, a horse and rider were approaching. More than his height, it was the rider’s buckteeth that made an impression. However, crossing the blades of the longswords he held in either hand, he was the very picture of heroism.
D’s sword gleamed in his hand. The instant they passed each other, there was a hard clang! like a scream from D’s blade as it broke in two.
A red trail streaming from him, D galloped off.
Galil’s horse stopped. The broken blade was stuck through the right side of its neck and out the left. With his horse halted, the warrior turned and looked back at D.
“That was mighty fine . . . Godspeed to you . . . brother.”
-
“And then the second assassin fell from his steed and moved no more.
Blood still poured from the Hunter’s right side.
“It’s pretty deep—but whatever, I’ll have it closed up in no time,” his left hand said.
“Leave it.”
“What?”
“The next one’s coming.”
Suddenly, his cyborg horse reared up like a vengeful god. The blob that’d appeared to one side of him had cut across the road just in front of the beast. The way D kept from being thrown without relying on the reins, using just his legs to grip the barrel of his steed and stay on, was a testimony to the power of those legs. “Above him, a sphere about six and a half feet in diameter flew down. From the ground it’d scurried up a nearby bole, then leapt out of the top of that tree. It made a gleaming thrust that D barely dodged, his left shoulder being split open in the process.
Perhaps D was prepared for as much, because he didn’t even flinch, striking at the sphere with his broken sword, but the blade sank in only to spring back ineffectually.
Bouncing back onto the road, the sphere made a rubbery twang! and turned into Tong with a sword gripped in one hand.
“Did you think I was just a plain ol’ fatty, D? Forgive me, but I’ve gotta do this. “Puffing up, he became the sphere again—and then a red line streaked right into his throat. With ridiculous ease, it poked out again through the top of his head. The same rubbery ball of flesh that’d deflected his blade couldn’t stop a stake.
“That’s something else,” the hoarse voice murmured from the horse’s back, sounding a little scared.
“Looks can be deceiving, eh?” D replied as he gazed down at Tong rolling back and forth. For some reason, the fat man was smiling.
“Not him. I’m talking about you. I was wondering what you were gonna use for a weapon . . .”
The thing jammed through Tong’s throat was covered with both his blood and D’s own. The Hunter had stuck his hand into the wound in his side and snapped something off. The stark stake was one of D’s ribs.”
-“Two to go,” the hoarse voice said rather wearily, “and here they are now!”
At the far end of the road, two riders waited on their steeds. A lithe figure turned straight toward the Hunter. It was Delilah. D had already experienced her skill with the sword she held in her right hand. As they passed each other, would she attack him from a safe distance? Could D guard against an unseen sword with a ten-foot reach in his present condition? What’s more, Delilah had been given power by the Great One. D, on the other hand, had only a broken sword for a weapon.
Each galloped toward the other in a cloud of dust until they were close enough to collide. A second later, Delilah and her steed hit him. A blade flashed out. “D’s left arm went flying, taken off at the elbow. The broken blade demonstrated sufficient strength and sharpness as it sank into the woman’s pale neck.
Why had she charged him instead of keeping her distance?
With no time to ponder what had been going through the girl’s mind, D squared off against his final opponent”

I'm no mountain climbing expert but I'm guessing this is impressive
“Looks like they’re following us,” the hoarse voice remarked when the Hunter came to a sign marking two thousand yards above sea level.
It’d taken D less than an hour to climb that far. Mount Shilla reached 3,657 yards above sea level. It was a little less than twenty-five hundred yards from the village of Mungs to the top of the mountain.”

Question, been reading some quotes in this thread and on wikis concerning D. Why does his longsword break all the time? is it specified what the sword is made from? apparently he picks up new ones all the time from different places so it may not even be a special material. When they say longsword are they implying just a typical steel blade.

His long sword breaks all the time because
1) Yes it is just a regular sword (the author laid that on heavy in the first few novels lol)
2)I don't recall them saying what it was made of but id have to look back through the books
3) Yeah its not special except for in Rose Princess where he had a special sword made for himself the "Soul Sword" I think its called but I don't believe he kept it because its never brought up afterwards
4) Yes they are implying just typical steel/iron or whatever is most common. The author does so to show how good D is with a sword, he goes so far as to bring up "How with just a regular sword he can make cuts that defy the laws of physics" or "With just a regular sword he can slice nobles and stop them from healing"

D throwing his infamous needles
“D’s right hand came up. In the same direction Lilia and Crey had looked, a succession of cries D alone could hear rang out. He’d thrown his rough wooden needles. More than a hundred yards away, a number of red splotches spread on the snow.
“Not too shabby,” Crey said, and when he turned there was a gleam in his eye. Had he known the weapons that’d flown over a hundred yards were light, slim needles of wood, he might’ve wet himself. A fresh gunshot made him turn his head once more. “Sons of bitches! They’ve got rifles.”

Vampire Hunter D Volume 22: White Devil Mountain

What makes that particular needle throw special
“I can’t see them.”
“That’s what the mountain folk around here are known for. They wear chameleon suits.” Vera’s words explained the mystery.
Chameleon suits were clothing that mimicked certain animals’ ability to make their bodies blend in with the coloring of their surroundings. Just as black clothes let one meld with the darkness, these suits would make the wearer suddenly disappear from view. Moreover, they took away the perception of depth, making it impossible to spot them. In the endless expanse of white, a foe like this could close on their prey more easily than a snow panther, then strike with their weapons. It was said that if they could maintain a certain distance, the outcome of the battle was one hundred percent clear.”

Vampire Hunter D Volume 22.: White Devil Mountain

After the scoutin party was killed D took one of the suits and a rifle

D can walk on snow and not leave a foot print
“Just beyond that ridge, they say that’s the area where Gilzen’s castle was. You should consider this whole region a danger zone. No, make that hell. Those behind you would be better off turning back if they still can—or is it too late?”
“It’s too late,” D replied as he advanced, steadily planting one foot after the other but doing it so lightly he didn’t leave a single track. Although this young man wasn’t the kind to care about the life or death of others, even for him the reply surpassed coldness and entered the spectrum of cruelty.”

Vampire Hunter D Volume 22: White Devil Mountain

D gets stronger day by day
“It would probably literally burn out your body. Does Gilzen still have a human form or not? Hell, the mountain folk he bit came back to life in broad daylight. D, there’s no record of Gilzen having that ability. Maddened by hate in his coffin, he must’ve developed that power. If left unchecked, the vampires he creates could rise from their graves in daylight and set off like an army in search of human lifeblood. Who could stop demons of darkness unfazed by the sun?”
The voice stopped there for a moment. It had to calm itself from its agitated state. Soon it continued, “Not you. You don’t measure up to Gilzen yet. The only thing in our favor is that your power increases day by day, but still you’re only a match for what he was ten thousand years ago. You can’t compare to what he is now. You can’t fight him!”

Ds "wings" in action again
“Hmm. That’d probably be worth a shot. In the past, there was a Noble who fell into the mouth of a volcano, but then, you’re not quite like him.”
“What became of that Nobleman?”
“He didn’t return to normal.”
Heat buffeted D’s face. He was less than five seconds from a swirling morass of fiery steel heated to tens of thousands of degrees.
Three seconds.
Two seconds.
One.

“Did you see that just now?” shouted a man peering through a telescope in the village lookout tower.
The villager next to him didn’t even have time to finish asking, “See what?”
“There’s a rock shelf around the fifteen-hundred-yard point. It’s turning into a castle up there. I saw a person fall down into it. But just as they were about to go splat, they sprouted wings!”

“Vampire Hunter D Volume 22: White Devil Mountain

D takes a laser to the chest
“A beam cannon?”
Even before the hoarse voice asked that question, the figure in black tilted deeply, dropping down once again like a bird of unearthly beauty—falling this time into a bottomless abyss. Again, the hem of his coat flared out. He dropped quickly, like a stone—and landed like the snow, seemingly without weight or sound.
White smoke and flames spouted from the chest of D’s coat. During the fall, he’d been blasted with lasers. Crimson flashes streamed in front of D and behind him, to his right and to his left. Walls and pipes were vaporized, reduced to ions and nothingness.”

“Vampire Hunter D Volume 22:White Devil Mountain

Continued
“D had broken into a dash before he even heard the hoarse voice. Running fifty yards in less than two seconds, he charged through a black entranceway. One shake of his body was enough to extinguish the flames that burned on his back and waist. The laser blasts had been ferocious. His dash had put out most of the flames, and the shake took care of the last remnants.
“You were shot in fourteen places. Forget humans; even a major Nobleman would need four or five days of complete bed rest after that, on account of how the cells get burned right out. I’m surprised you could still run.”

“Vampire Hunter D Volume 22: White Devil Mountain

A cut from Devil Duke Gilzen doesn't heal easily
“The instant she saw the left side of the woman’s chest, Vera had the wind knocked right out of her. The heavy chest plate had been split diagonally, and fresh blood stained the woman’s upper body.
“D?” the doctor murmured.
“That stripling?” Jeanne laughed in a low voice. Hers was the pale face of the average Noble, but to Vera it looked like a death mask. “This was a punishment from the duke. When you’ve been cut by the master, the wound won’t close until his anger has subsided.”
“That’s just insanity. Nobles are ageless and immortal—meaning you could remain in pain forever?”
