okay, i decided to try one of these things starting with one of my favorite characters, Goku. I'll be back soon with an interesting piece of info.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrUvmlWg70M goku states that instant transmition makes him go 186,000 miles per second around the 0:50 mark. idk if that is true though, seeing that he travels to king kai's planet with cell in an instant, and that planet is in other world, the dbz equivalent of heaven. im going to look closer into this. in the meanwhile, tell me what you think.

found out that the speed was made up. here is the same scene from the manga http://manga.animea.net/dragon-ball-cha ... age-4.html speed was never specified, it was only called shukdan idou (instant movement)
