Grand Kai's place for most of the Post-Android/Cell Saga Pre-Majin Buu Saga, why?
Unless you're talking Post-Frieza Saga Pre-Android/Cell Saga, in which case its the planet where he learned Instant Transmission.

either way its inconsistent if it doesn't have higher gravity since we see goku working out with weighted clothes in 100x gravity and lifting what looks like 6figure ton range piccolo. so im inclined to guess that like king kais planet it has higher gravity

That should maybe have been taken into account then. Because that may have made it slightly more even. Not enough to change the outcome but it could have closed the gap. And I would bet all the Kais planets have some type of higher gravity.

As regards to the King Kai's planet being 10x gravity, why would King Kai measure the weight the way we do? If it was 40 tons to him, why would he measure it with Earth's standard? Hopefully my question makes sense, I know I can phrase things weirdly sometimes :?

I get what your saying, is 40 tons to King Kai the same as 40 tons to us or is he on the space metric system so to speak.

i understand what your saying but if you look at it that way its impossible to know how much he was actually lifting. it makes more sense to say he was judging it by earth standards but not including the gravity of the planet. another thing about this feat i think goes unnoticed a lot is that hes not only trying to lift it. which he capable of but box at high speeds with it (which he can do after going ss) that makes it more impressive than a regular lifting feat of the same weight imo. btw were there any issues with some of the superman calcs?

I didn't know he was using them like boxing gloves, that changes the feat anyway it's not just lifting.
I...honestly don't try to waste my time checking on Superman calcs, not worth it.
