There are a number of former Factpilers on the Spacebattles forum that I'm following. I very rarely go there, though. There's always Reddit, but I'm not sure how suitable that is.

I think we were drawn to Factpile for the content and "close-knit" personal nature of the threads. That's not a real easy thing to replace. We have the latter here, but not the former, and so without Factpile's corona to feed it the forum has died.

I'm not actually sure how I feel about this to be honest.
There are names which I have forgotten and struggle to remember.
I had fond memories here.

I mostly go to Spacebattles.
I drop in once in a while here, comicvine, and sufficient velocity for what I dub "geeksites."

It seems pretty active to me. Many posts each day on a variety of topics.

I'm right there with you. The ghost town that this site has become is pretty sad. The only reason I keep coming back is in case there's a new resurgence of life. I'm excited to be the forum equivalent of an old man.
