Nutrition Labels

Postby Baron Somebody » Tue Mar 20, 2012 6:03 pm

Am I the only one who finds them utterly fascinating based upon the kinds of bullshit people are ingesting? I generally stray away from anything containing MSG and phosphates, as well as aspartame for sure...

Meh, if I'm bored I occasionally read them, by the way, school milk is more than milk.

How so?

Among with the "milk" there is preservatives, some kind of extra Lactic thing, and Vitamin D.

Psh. I don't know about your school food, but the school I go to at least doesn't have a damn thing that isn't fake or processed beyond all reason. I swear, I sometimes believe even the salad's a conspiracy.

Ok that one made me laugh.

On topic I don't read them and I get tired of people that ask how many calories are in the bread we make. We can't give an honest answer on that.

Honestly, the only time I look at a label is occasionally on alcohol. Being on a budget, I want to find the best alcohol to price ratio.

I usually only read them to amuse myself with how much stuff is needed for a simple can of soda. I still don't see how people can be surprised with how many health problems we have now when all they need to do is look at a label to see the problem.
